Real estate properties are known as off-market listing if they are not listed in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). The MLS is an exclusive listing service only available to Realtors. Since the advent of the internet, there are many listing services that are not exclusive to Realtors. There are also on-line “listing aggregators” that allow properties listed in the MLS to be displayed for everyone’s access. These listings are available on sites like Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com.
